- Here on the MediaLine Forums, we listen to the views of others, and have no patience with those who bully or use ridicule to silence serious arguments. We understand that good, wise people often disagree with each other, and that personal courtesy is the baseline for free discussion. Personal attacks, mockery, intentional misrepresentation of others’ position, and speculation about the motives of people posting here are not allowed.
- If you post something and someone disagrees with your idea, their disagreement does not erase your original statement. There is no need to answer except to clarify your position or to offer new material.
- Do not use CAPITAL LETTERS to emphasize more than a word or two. Writing entire sentences or paragraphs in capital letters is discourteous, as it slows down and takes pleasure away from the reading experience.
- If you must use a cell phone to post to MediaLine, and particularly if you use a voice to text conversion, please carefully proofread before posting. On the other hand, please do not dwell excessively on the spelling or grammatical errors of others, as this too is discourteous and distracts from civil discussion.
- The forum language is English only.
- Please do not spam. The definition of spam is an irrelevant or advertising post. Any post considered spam will be removed.
- Please be sensitive in language you use on the forum, some of our members are more sensitive than others, and some words are considered more offensive to some persons than to others. Swearing is not completely banned, just do not swear unnecessarily, and only use minor words. MediaLine may employ a filter, but do not rely on that filter to censor you; instead, be use your considerate discretion.
